MARINELA RUSU
Marinela Rusu, born in Iași, Romania, is a full member
of the Union of Visual Artists from Romania, member of the Association
of Artists and Fine Arts, Pieria, Greece, and member of the Circle
Foundation for the Artists, Lyon, France.
Graduated from National University of Art "George
Enescu" and University of Philosophy "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" from
Iași, Romania, PhD, in Psychology, Marinela Rusu, both an artist and a
psychologist, achieves a synthesis between the two specializations, generously
transposing in her works of art incursions into the field of the human psyche,
using specific metaphors and symbols.
Her artistic activity is prolific, organizing 28
personal exhibitions (in Greece and Romania) and participating in more than 70
collective exhibitions (Romania, Greece, Germany, Austria, Italy). Also,
Marinela Rusu participated in many international creative and documentary
painting campstogether withvaluable artists form all over the world.
She is present with personal pages published in albums
and international magazines such as: ”Enciclopedia dei Contemporanei dell’Arte”,Italy (2022); ”Pagine D’Arte”,
Italy (2018), ”Ta pedia paizei”, Greece (2015); "ARTIS,
2021", Romania, etc. The value of her creations was recognized by the
more than 30 awards and distinctions granted to her in Romania and abroad. We
mention here: the First Prize (of the Critics) and the Second Prize (of
the Galleries), Milan, Italy (2015); IIIrd Prize – Five
Golden Stars, Eindhoven, Holland (2012), "Competition
Distinction", Piatra Neamț, Romania, 2016, Excellence Award, Iași, Romania
(2024) etc.

"My passion for art reflects a duality and an
inevitable synthesis between art and psychology, between the artist's
attraction to beauty and the psychologist's concern for understanding people's
