Greta Tahiraga-Artist

 

Greta Tahiraga was born in Shkodër (Albania) on Febbruary 21th, 1974 She is a contemporary artist interested in Natura Morta’s genre. After high school graduation in 1992 in the Technology High School of Shkodër she continued her studies at the Faculty of Education Sciences “Luigj Gurakuqi” University in Shkodër for Pedagogy, where she graduated in 2000. 

In 2005, she emigrated to Italy with her family and lived in Florence for almost ten years where she worked as Assistant caregiver for the elderly in the Nursing Home Madonnina of Fontebuona

From 2014 she has worked at Special School “3 Dhjetori” as a teacher for disabled children. In June of 2014 she opened an exhibition entitled "Ne Ju Sjellim Ngjyrat Tona" (We bring you our colors) with students of the Special School "3 Dhjetori" at "Marin Barleti" Library. In the same year she completes the project entitled "Eja dhe Sfido lojën" (Come and challenge the game) with students of the Special School "3 Dhjetori" in collaboration with the students of the Social Work branch of the University of Shkodra and the football players of FC Vllaznia, at Loro Borici Stadium. In 2015 Participated in the Exhibition entitled "Arti i Pranverës 2019" (Spring Art 2019) at the National Historical Museum of Tirana.
